I have been single a year.. I couldn't be miss America, but everyone at my school says I'm beautiful. I'm outgoing and fun. But I don't have a boyfriend. I'm not trying to sound like I love my self and my looks. Because trust me, I have Many insecurities. But I don't really understand. Can someone explain? Please help me out here.

A year? Come on that's nothing you have nothing to worry about. I've been single for the last 6 years. Enjoy your life while you're still young.
It's usually pretty easy for a woman to find a guy that is crazy about them.
Take a good look at that one guy friend that is always there listening to how horrible all of the guys you are interested in are, always tries to cheer you up and is always trying to get you to do stuff (most women have at least one). This guy is most likely retardedly in love with you, but thinks you'll reject him because he is a friend.
I could be wrong, but most women I know have a friend (that could be more) like this.

You're 18 and hate being single? WHY?!!! Good grief... Get a hobby. Get in more killer shape. Volunteer. Don't look for quantity of boyfriend time; look for quality.
Don't worry about it. I didn't have a boyfriend till I was 18 and I'm pretty average looking.

I usually go 2 or 3 years between relationships, and I'm not a bad looking guy.
Men sense fear and your insecurities, so they're afraid you'll be clingy. Just lighten up and enjoy yourself without looking for a man. When you least expect it, there will be Mr Right!
WOW. Just a year? Hell. I've been single for pretty much my whole life. Don't worry to much about it. Don't try to be searching for a guy because then you won't find someone out of LOVE, you'll just find someone because you CAN. If you want a real relationship, be patient.
