Is it normal that i have been awake more than 24 hours straight?

I have not been to sleep at all last night. I'm tired and just wish I could get sleepy and take a nap but I can't!!!

    Wow, anything less than six hours of sleep in a night and I literally can't function at all the next day. Trying to live like that for weeks at a time would be hell.

    i have had many times where i couldent fall asleep, only 1 time though that i was up for 2 days. I was partying with friends (nothing more than weed though) at the time.

    I read about insomnia, seems you can have it short-term and long term so I'm glad I finally got to sleep !

    I've been there before. Sometimes,
    it takes me HOURS to even get close to falling asleep.
    No worries, other people have been through this.
    However, if you really really can't get to sleep after like 2 days or so, then I suggest getting some medication or something.

    It happens to most people at some point.
    Take care of yourself. Try not to over stress.
    Eat right, exercise a little, take the time to relax.
    If it persists see a doctor.

    It's normal, insomnia or irregular sleeping patterns may be causing this, or it could even be stress or diet related. Cut down intake of sugar and/or coffee and stick to regular meal times. Good luck.

    Yep. I joined this site by accidentally because I couldn't sleep. While typing this, I have been up for 2 days. I did take a 1hr 23min nap yesterday, though.

    I time myself to keep record for my doc. I somewhat go a full 7days with only a sum of 13-14hrs of sleep.
