Is it normal that i have a "type" for girls even though i'm straight?

So I'm open to my sexuality but I think I'm straight (I'm a girl and I only date and have crushes on guys), but for some reason I have a "type" for girls, just like I do for guys. Not just that I can tell if a girl is pretty; some girls are pretty but just aren't my "type." The ones who are my type do catch my attention, almost like when I think a guy is attractive, but it doesn't seem anywhere near as intense. Is this normal?

Sounds a lot like me! I wouldn't want to be itha girl (I'd lke to try and kiss a girl but that's it) and consider myself straight. I do find many girls attractive, but I do have a certain 'type'. From what I read on many ebsites, it's very normal and a lot of girls feel the same!

I'm kind of in the same place as you. I'm a lesbian, but I've found that a certain type of guys tend to catch my eye in passing. Emotionally and romantically, I'm 100% completely homosexual, and I could never actually date a guy, but I seem to feel some small, negligible trace of physical attraction to the opposite sex. This is a completely normal phenomenon, and it appears to fit what you describe quite well. So, in answer to your question, yes, it's completely and totally normal :)

IT'S TOTALLY NORMAL.. me and my mates discuss our 'types' if we were lesbian.. Totally normal i think.

Yep! You might also be heteroromantic (that is, only interested in dating men) but a little bit bisexual (that is, some low-level attraction toward women). Or you could be straight and just like certain things as far as beauty goes. Being bi, I can't tell if that's something straight people experience.

You kinda sound like me! I've never been with a girl, but I have a type. Not too too pretty, and not too too girly.
    I think it's normal.

Need more input to determine whether this is normal or not. Do you even know what makes them "just your type"?is it perhaps something telling you:i am a very volubile girl who trusts people too easily and tends to be easily dragged in whatever as long as it can be considered fun?or it is perhaps:i am a very pretty girl who does not know right from wrong and you can totally tell by looking at my reckless behavior and my questionable life choices?or is it because they laugh the way you do they like the things you like, dislike what you do not like and basically look like the kind of girls you can have sex with and be all secretive about it so you can have your lil circle of secret pussy licking vibrators exchanging gossiping cunts?sorry i did not mean to be too hard on you. FORGIVE ME!
