we just had a connection and i met him after I found out that my mother dated his father. They arent married or anything, but we all live in the same house and I have a constant relationship with him and I may have lost my v card to him recently, he says we are made for each other. i love him and he loves me, though I'm held back at the thought he is my stepbrother.

        Not a problem. Now that I can see your other replies. It's quite common to have questions or concerns about relationships in family or near family members. You asked a valid question in your post and I hope that my long answer above helped. It all comes down to how do you feel about the sex. Is it enjoyable, in the middle, or not. Is it helping pull the two of you closer, in the middle, or pushing you apart?

        At neutral to enjoyable and benificial at this time - my opinion is there are no concerns. Enjoy and learn about sex and love with each other. Take the normal precautions for pregnancies or STDs, unless you have already decided not to and wish to continue in that fashion (and that is your choice as long as you have discussed the possibilities and responsibilities that may come down the line).

    While technically this is not incest; your state may consider it so based on your "family." However, about 1-2% of actual brothers/sisters do in fact have consensual and non-harmful relationships. Of course, anything where there is force or threats, or you cannot say no is long term harmful.

    Yours is not an unusual situation, and a lot of people have written about it on the internet.

    I suggest you read up on this on Reddit as they have a incest section. Be sure you read both the good and bad stories to gain an insight.

    There are also a lot of other information out there... unfortunately, it usually takes sorting through a lot of porn and fake stories to find in using a search engine.

    You were all strangers to one another before your mom started dating his dad. I don't see anything wrong with you two having a relationship. You are not blood related and your parents aren't even married. It is so difficult to find the right person to be with. They always say you don't really know a person until you live with him/her.     So you're getting it on with the son of a fella your mom is dating. That's not incest nor is he your stepbrother except he will be if the two gets married. It's a bit weird and I wouldn't go there personally when there's a ton of men in the world but could be worse.
