Is it normal that i have a painful lump between my leg and vagina?

Hi,

I am 21. Last night while I was taking a shower, I found a weird lump between my leg and vagina. It's underneath the skin and it doesn't move. It's also soft, squishy, flat, a bit painful, and shaped weird. I don't really know how to describe the shape of the lump but it's Not round. Is this normal? And if not, what could this lump be? Also, I've never had sex or any type of sexual encounter if that matters.

    From the sounds of it these are quite common, I have the same problem sometimes. It should go away in a day or two, but if it doesn't within a week or it grows/changes shape etc then it couldn't hurt to see a doctor :)
