Is it normal that i have a horrible urge to get plastic surgery?

I just feel like I am uglier than everyone around me. And I am insanely jealous of celebrities who look "perfect," and hate that even the one's who aren't, eventually get plastic surgery and then they are! Ashlee Simpson had that nose, and all of a sudden, voila! It's gone! Why can't I look perfect too? If I had the means to get surgery, I would do it in a heartbeat. I hate how people see celebrities and say, wow, they are so pretty, when it was done by surgery!! I'm so jealous of others looks, I'm going crazy over it! Is this normal? Does anyone else feel like this?

Thinking you're uglier than you are is low self esteem. You could be the most attractive person ever, it's a mental thing rather than physical. Celebrities pay insane amounts just to look perfect which makes others want to. Celebrities who are very thin, for example, cause teen girls to develop anorexia just so they can be thin like them. Let's not forget that if the surgery goes wrong, you could look awful, instead of just thinking you are.

I used to hate my nose until my younger cousin got a nose job and I realized how stupid it was. Celebrities are beautiful because of the care they take with their appearance in grooming, diets, fashion etc., NOT because of the shape of their facial features and body parts. It's hard to differentiate the two, but it's a big racket to make people feel bad and give the plastic surgeons money.

DON'T get plastic surgery. It could ruin your life. Just look at Joan Rivers' face after all those plastic surgeries.

Well, I have my career already planned out; I was just accepted into the nursing program at my college. I get excellent grades, and I know that I'm very smart. But I feel like I will never be completely happy until I see myself as "beautiful." Not only on the inside, but on the outside.

I just normally look at them and think "photoshop" and make-up. I honestly am not jealous of any celebrity.
