Is it normal that i have a hard time saying "i love you." back?

Whenever my boyfriend says he loves me, I have a hard time saying it back. I love him and all, but, It's just hard saying it. I feel the love, but, sometimes, I just don't think I should say it back. I don't want to hurt his feelings or anything like that because I do love him just it's hard for me to say it.

He always comes right out and says I love you. I wait a few soeonds, then I say it back. I think if I keep doing this I might not love him anymoor at all.

Does anyone else have this problem???
I NEED HELP!!! Do you think it's normal?

I don't think that's abnormal. I personally believe that people over analyze what it means to say "I love you" to someone, when it doesn't matter what you say as much as what you do. Say it when it feels right. Perhaps you should talk to him about this.

Yeah... Maby I should. I don't want to hurt his feelings though because he says he loves me all the time.

I'm having the same problem as well. I personally think that it's fine as love should be proven by actions and not all about verbal.

We all see love in different ways, it's not a bad thing. He might even learn something about love if you tell him how you feel.
I have similar tendencies when it comes to the 'Iloveyou' word. I feel that it is something so strong that if I say it, it will lose value. You naturally want to save it. The I love you word gives the most intense effect when said in the right moment and that's all it's supposed to be.
Encourage him to just think about it and smile. You will know :)
