I personally find it funny that a lot of the people who hate on others for liking certain things are either one themselves, or have something worse that they are trying to hide.

Normal if you're a fan of MLP, yes. Outside of that, not so much, unless you're a furry I guess (the MLP fandom produces quite a lot of high quality porn), which probably can't in itself be considered normal, even though it's not that uncommon.

I dunno, its not like most kids shows, kinda reminds me of the show the Powerpuff girls i watched as a kid. Aimed for kids, but some of the humor is entertaining even for older audiences. just like with FIM, I knew a lot of older kids who watched it at the time. PPG and MLP:FIM even have the same creator, Lauren Faust.
