As in myself being drowned. One scenario I've always liked is swimming in a lake or an ocean, and tentacles come up from below and drag me down.

I've heard of this before. When I read about the reasons for it, it didn't seem that odd. Most fetishes once understood, aren't really that odd. We just pretend they are odd so we can punish each other and be not very good people.
Well then, you should live on a boat. It would up your chances of your drowning scenario coming true. A lot!
Have you had a drowning incident before? I've heard it's pretty unpleasant. Your lungs feel like they're on fire or being stabbed several times over and over again. However, I can kind of see the beauty in the dramatic scene that you described.
