I've developed a liking towards an individual I have little information about. I've chatted with her one-on-one for hours and she's lovely. But in all honesty I don't even know her full name nor do I know what she looks like. I know she's not single and I'm still crushing on her. IIN?

Definitely normal. That's part of the beauty of meeting people online- you can get to know them in a much deeper way than you normally would in person without the typical shallow judgement of looks or class.
Of course, as in your case where you don't know her name or what she looks like, there is always the risk that they aren't who they say they are, but most of the time people are more comfortable being honest about themselves when there's a level of anonymity.
There's also a bit of intrigue and mystery going on for you because you don't know much about her. That tends to make people subconsciously project traits onto the other person, therefore making them seem even more ideal.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like things are going to go anywhere in your situation right now because she's in a relationship, but hopefully your crush will fade with time and you can have a really great friendship anyway.
