Remember Arthur? Well, I started watching the old episodes again. I totally have a crush on Mr. Ratburn. Is this normal?
OK I had unbelievable number of cartoon/anime crushes but Mr. Ratburn is just.. weird
I bet you like that part when he's floating in the water with them little shorts on during the theme song. :D
I used to have the biggest crush on Ash Ketchum. Gotta catch 'em all!!! I would watch Pokemon, then have sexy day dream about Ash. The only reason I even watched that show. He made me blush 24/7. Haha... And Danny Phantom. It's perfectly normal.
Having crushes on cartoons is normal. I myself went through a period of crushing hard on an anime character but I got over it. However, since your chosen desire in Mr. Ratburn I find it a bit strange.
But who are we to judge? Each to their own.
Most of the time when we develop crushes on fictional characters, only a very small part attraction is based on appearance. We usually fall in love with the personality of said character, or relate to them in some way. This is why we take a liking to characters in books whom we haven't even seen. How many of us girls can honestly say we never skipped a few pages in twilight just to get to the parts with Jacob Black? Hardly any.
I know from experience as well, that you can feel a bit weird and ashamed of yourself for feeling that way. Don't. There's no need to, it's relatively normal.
It's alright, because they're like other people's creations, and they make the characters seem like real people with personalities.
Its very very weird to have a crush on a cartoon (in my opinion) but I'm sure most people have at some point. I used to have a crush on Kovu from Lion King 2... Now that is weird!

Glad I'm not the only one lol! I had tons of cartoon crushes such as Captain Planet, Darkwing Duck, Raphael from Ninja Turtles, Wacko from Animaniacs, and Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing.
Raphael and I have been in a relationship since the late 80s im sorry hes mine you cant have him. :p

Well it's not totally unusual. When I was younger I had quite a few cartoon/anime crushes. My main one was Rinku from an anime called Yu Yu Hakusho...haha
Excuse you, it doesn't matter if they're not real. People who made them gave them soul, own thinking, personality and when they're hot I think it's very normal. When you watch a show/movie or anything like that you can just fall in love with certain character because you can relate to them or you find them interesting or whatever is the reason. And the longer you watch the show the more these characters become you "friends".
