Is it normal that i hate yellow subtitles?

I like watching anime in it's original Japanese form. I hate it when the subtitles are yellow. When I see that, I cannot even continue watching it. Is this normal?

    Well, it's very unpleasant to the eyes, so yes. Totally normal.

    I prefer yellow because the white ones are not always easy to read, depending on the background

    darn! that is totally normal dude. I've experienced it once when I was watching "The Valentines Day". It's just annoying. I don't even like yellow colored appliance. Lol

    But you know, I discovered that VLC have this option on its Preferences tool where you can actually choose the size, the color and the orientation of your subtitles. Cool, right?

    I totally depends on the background that it's on. I'm really in love with Asian dramas, and it gets really annoying when you can't read the subs. Although... my Mandarin, and Japanese is improving quite well :) maybe I won't even need subs after a while.
