Yeah, women can be bitches sometimes.

And yes, as a gender, males are superior but that doesn't mean that females should submit to males. I am a very intelligent and independant woman but I would never sit here and say that every man is more intelligent than me, or is superior to me because I am a female. There are males that are superior to me, but every male is not superior to me just by virtue of our sex. There are more achievers in the male gender, but that doesn't mean that there are no achievers in the female gender. I don't feel that you should allow your sex to make you think that everyone from the opposite sex is automatically superior to you.

Don't hate females. Some of us are actually really cool.

  • Two very separate things you are saying there. Saying men are superior doesn't mean you hate women, despite how much people believe that's what it means.

I believe men are superior, as a gender. They are the worst and the best at most things, women are almost always on the neautral area, they aren't usually the best or the worst at things.

I believe ever since women have had their rights, too many have made people see it as a "bad decision". I believe women should have rights, but the way a lot of women use those rights to just constantly pput down the male gender is appauling, especially given that they are using everthing made by males.

What irritates me is the irony of "equality". Men have done more, made more, invented more, and progressed civilization/society more, and yet they are to be seen as equal to the gender that still to this day does not contribute to the evolution of our civilization as much as males today. Sure, they do a lot more than they did before since they have their rights, and I'm greatful, but that doesn't mean they are doing equal amounts.
The whole equality idea is a joke. How is it equality to say that the group that has done more than the other is the same as the one that hasn't done as much? There is a difference between being treated equally and being equal, but sadly this society doesn't see the difference between the two.

Personally the argument of equality is about equal treatment and equal opportunity. If you and I are equally qualified for the same job we both have, we should be paid the same. If we applied to the same university, we should be judged by equal criteria. If we both fulfilled the same accomplishments, we should be respected equally. That, to me, should be applicable regardless of if its between different sexes, same sex, races, etc. I shouldn't get special treatment because my great-great grandmother got treated like crap by her husband (she didnt btw), and you shouldnt get special treatment for accomplishments that some other guy made. It should be about judging the individual, not the group.

      • I never said the individual man should be respected, I do believe the gender as a group should be.

I didn't think you were, but you said that the irony of equality irritates you. My response was simply a different perspective on what the equality is that most women look for (at least the not-psycho-feminist ones I've met). Whether or not one sex is "better" than the other is an interesting discussion, but a moot point in personal interactions, which is where the issue of equality is most prevalent.

Males are far from being the superior gender since there isn't one. This is what happens when you live in a patriarchal society.

    What do you mean 'superior'...
Such a generalisation...makes my inner feminist pissed.

No one's superior to anyone just because of the way they were born.

I used to be the other way around. I felt like women were the superior species. lol
At the time, I had allot of Misandry. But, now I see there's no "superior gender". True, they're some bitchy women out there, but not every man is strong either.

I feel like this a lot of the time. I'm a girl, and I haven't honestly had any friends who are girls since...well, since I can remember! I find that I have a lot more in common with guys too, and they're way more fun to be around. I'm a gamer, and I like metal, and I'm gothicy.

I think you have probably learned this from society. It may appear that men are superior but it could be based on societal stereotypes.
