Is it normal that i hate when people update their status with lyrics?

When I log on Facebook and look at status updates, I want status updates. I don't want to see some fucking depressing song lyrics! While I'm procrastinating in the library I don't want to read some inspirational sort of speech. I want to know what the fuck everybody is up to! Is that concept so hard for people to understand?

    To tell you the truth, whether you would like to believe it or not, people don't update their statuses for you. I bet the last thing on their mind is how you think of them. And they could careless whether you're entertained at the library or not. I know this must be so sad for you to hear...

    Oh me too but only if it's from a stupid love song or something depressing, but if it's like from a fun song and everything I don't mind :D
