Is it normal that i hate when men say things like this?

I dislike when men say that getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than childbirth, and other such things that women go through. Childbirth is equivalent to breaking 20 bones simultaneously. It just seems disrespectful to the people who gave birth to them. Personally, I think they deserve a hit to the balls. Is it normal?

  • I witnessed the birth of all three of my children. No way could a kick in the balls be compared to that. No. Fucking. Way. I couldn't do it once..let alone volunteer to do it a second time if I were a woman. I'd stitch my vagina shut.

No man will ever give birth (not in the same way as a woman does, anyway). No woman will ever get kicked in the balls (in the same way a man does).

Why are we arguing about the relative pain of two things that can't ever be compared by one person? I'd assume childbirth is more painful but making assumptions like this is exactly what the OP is complaining about.

actually scientist can monitor the brainwaves of a woman giving birth and a guy getting kicked in the nuts and clearly see which one stiulates the area of the brain related to pain more.

Yes but what a monumental waste of time and money that would be.

It's all a matter of perspective, really.

I think it is a little arrogant of men to say that childbirth is less painful than being kicked in the nuts (considering that the 9 months of pregnancy that come before childbirth are difficult enough), but I also find that it is arrogant of women to say that, because they have experienced childbirth, they know what REAL pain is or that this gives women merit that they can endure the most pain or real pain for that matter. I think anyone that has ever been shot a few times, been in a bad enough car accident etc. would disagree with that.

Many women opt for epidurals, anyway. Most babies in the US are delivered in hospitals, where anesthesia is routinely given. Ask and thy shall receive. Most women in childbirth are given the option, so generally if women experience the pain that comes with natural childbirth, it is because they opted for natural childbirth. Most men don't opt to be kicked in the balls. And they usually don't have 9 months to prepare, either.

Now if you are talking about the arrogance of men towards women in lesser developed countries, I say, unless you have been there and done that, you really have no privilage of complaint, as you have not actually endured it. It's like my complaining of how much YOUR family sucks when I am not the one having to live with them.

I don't even see why it's an issue. I was not aware that the ability to squirt out kids proficiently, which is an ability that millions of creatures have also perfected, carried any weight to one's worth as a person or to society. Why does it matter who can feel the most pain? Wouldn't it matter more what people can offer to others or to society? How intelligent or compassionate, articulate, strong or motivated a person is does not have much bearing when it comes to being able to squat out a mini-me without crying too much. I know idiots that have done it. Seriously.

Like I said, matter of perspective. Also, hitting a man in the balls for disagreeing with you is just as bad as a man hitting a woman for disagreeing with him. Him being a prick is not a good excuse to be violent towards him, just like a woman being emotional is not a good excuse for a male to be violent against a female. Come on, now.

Hey I went through childbirth. I didn't make to the hospital in time to get the epidural. My brother said he could hear me from the parking lot. I will say this I swear there no other pain like child birth in this world.

  • You never know, it could be. Afterall, you might scream due to childbirth, but you can litrally puke for half an hour over one kick to the nuts.

It's not disrespectful to say that, it might be true.

ok...well picture this. THIS is what child birth feels like. Take the most sensitive part of your body. Pick up a nice knife. Poke a hole and use your hands to TEAR it open. Then pull out what ever is inside. YAY childbirth.

          • Being hit in the nuts. Imagine having all your organs in your body crushed into a small ball, that's how it feels.

Childbirth is equivalent to breaking 20 bones simultaneously? I don't know who came up with that, or what kind of experimentation was involved to arrive at that conclusion, but it sounds like bullshit to me. The breaking of bones, and the contraction of uterine muscle combined with stretching and sometimes tearing of soft tissue, will no doubt cause very different sensations. You also have to consider what's worse to you - a high amount of pain for a short time, or long term suffering over the course of several weeks or months.

As far as getting kicked in the balls vs childbirth, I've never actually heard anyone compare the two until now. I don't see how a comparison can be made between these two gender exclusive experiences. Its a silly thing to debate. Why any man would make the assertion that getting kicked in the balls is worse than childbirth is beyond me. It's not based on evidence or even personal experience for that matter. So that's kind of a retarded thing to say.

I think any of these comparisons are stupid, either way. I've met women who have had kidney stones pass that were more painful than childbirth and another who never had another child after the pain of the first birth. Everyone has different pain thresholds, there's no need to childishly say 'my pain is worse than yours' especially when you've never experienced it.

Oh no it's not the pain you receive goes away before you know it, when a woman or girl gives birth they have to deal with the flaws and changes they hate so i hope you're joking.

I think that child birth is more painful, since the woman has to go through with it for hours on end...BEFORE having the baby itself. Has there been a man that's been in pain for hours on end as a result of getting kick in the coconuts? :/

I am a man, and I have gone through pain exponentially worse than getting kicked in the nuts / child birth. I've had internal pain that would make child birth seem like gas cramps...

Hey anyone remember the lady who cut her husbands penis off and then took it with her on a joyride down the street and threw it out the window? hahaha. Don't worry they found it and reattached it. I wonder what people would do if they found a penis on the street.

Getting kicked in the balls hurts like shit it's like a girl getting her tits punched it's soft on both places so the impact is painful for both genders, when the soft tissue is hit it is very painful. I'm sure they don't know what they are talking about, i am not a girl myself but i can just imagine that child birth is a hell of a lot more painful since the baby usually comes out of the girls or womans vagina and the vagina has to stretch as the baby comes out and that makes sense that it would hurt, even though i am a guy i know exactly how you feel girls have it tough with all the hormones which many don't realize mens hormones are nothing compared to the hormones of a girl. Don't let things like that get to you they are probably young or uninformed or they have never got anyone pregnant and seen the reality of it, hitting them won't solve anything you might feel satisfied but in the long run it won't help them get informed of the reality all they will feel is pain if i have helped please let me know thanks.

actually, I hear that the contractions that a woman goes through are mostly where the pain comes from...

I don't know, and to me the idea of try to sqeeze out something resembling the size of a melon for a good few hours seems the more painful, but then again having never experienced either, I can't exactly judge :O

You can't really compare the two. Childbirth is more painful obviously. It's just logical sense go watch a video.
