Is it normal that i hate vulgar shirts worn in public?

I was at Hershey park earlier this year, and I saw I few people with vulgar shirts. One man had a shirt that was just a picture of a hand giving you the finger, and another shirt that said "I heart fat bitches." I think it should be illegal to wear shirts like this in a family friendly place like that. My six year old sister was there, she should be seeing something like that!

Be a good American and keep trying to repress the first amendment. Is this the first time you've ever heard a curse or seen a middle finger? No? Well it won't be the last time either.

God Bless America and our bill of fucking rights!

I dunno, sounds like you're kind of blowing a minor issue out of proportion. Dont let your personal feelings cloud your judgement.

    I just can't stand the racist/homophobic ones.

My friend once got a really racist shirt from her friend, so she gave it to her boyfriend and her boyfriend wears it in public.

    Gotta love people.

I hate those shirts too. People think they're being really funny by wearing them, but I just think they're lame.

On the other side, though, I get annoyed when people get "offended" by something someone else does. Stop worrying about what other people do (and in this case, wear), and focus more on what you're doing (and wearing). Everyone will be much happier once we all stop being offended.

They are most likely boring people who have to wear an offensive t shirt for attention. They knew they were going to go to a crowded public place so they chose to wear something vulgar, that should tell you something about them. They are just boring and sad, don't let their problems bother you.

Dude first ammendment rights extend to t-shirts. By the way if it's a government owned park they cannot make you remove your shirt because it violates fisrt ammendment rights.

my buddy has a t shirt that says, "i eat pussy like a fat kid eats cake". it shows a guy eating kitty cats. like for kids sake u can make it look like that, but that could disturb kids that people eat cats. lol I dunno, but I do think that there are worse things to worry about.

I guess it's just an opinion, because that's not at all offensive to me. Fat bitches need love too, what's wrong with someone showing them a little extra love?

Those could've been worse. I think you're overreacting a bit.
lol, I have one with a toaster saying "I want you inside me," and a piece of bread saying "that's hot." Not really vulgar, just funny.

I totally totally agree with you and truly believe that the world needs more people like you!!! I'm thinking omg how to deal with this when i have kids what if my kids saw that and then it's mommy what's a blank.... It's really messed up for people to wear that in public. It's just plain rude and disrespectful. I can not understand why people in this world enjoy being disrespectful. It's so sad. But you are totally right!

So you're saying you don't think people should wear these shirts because YOU wouldn't know how to deal with YOUR children if they see a bad word?

How long do you plan on sheltering your kids from the real world? If they don't see it on someone's shirt they're bound to see it on T.V or the Internet. And if they go to public school then forget about it.

Don't circumvent the situation, be a responsible parent and talk to your kids.

I forgot I was wearing one once and went to the shopping mall with one that had a large pic of the virgin mary saying
" Mary was only a virgin if you don't count anal "
This lady of around 65 who was the cashier, was like " Ooh whats that say on your Tshirt dear " I tried to tell her OMG I forgot to change the shirt before coming out, you don't want to read it but she insisted.
    I'm glad she giggled.

you should have maybe reported this to someone at Hershey to see what their policy regarding offensive attire is. A lot of theme parks will make people remove or conceal such offensive things.

At Busch Gardens parks they are forced to turn them inside out, I think. Don't know about Hershey's policy, but I'm sure it is hard to catch everyone with inappropriate shirts on.

I know how you feel. I hate shirts that lie. Mainly the ones worn by overweight African American women with serious attitude problems that say, "You know you want all this." See, the problem with that is, 1. I don't want you physically, and 2. I certainly don't want you for your personality. :|
