Is it normal that i hate the word "woman"?

At my school there are lots of feminist, anti-sexist, socialist, communist, marxist, whatever-ist girls, who are always protesting against this and that.

Very often I find myself arguing with them about things because they find everything offensive and sexist/racist, and it just gets really annoying.

Now I've just started to hate the words "woman" and "women". I'm not saying I hate women, I'm just saying that I hate the words. I just feel annoyed every time I hear someone say them or I see them written down. I try to avoid using these words as much as possible, and use different words like "female(s)" and "girl(s)". Also, I hate it when young high school and even primary school students call themselves women, because in my opinion, a female isn't a woman when she's 15.. she's just a girl.

So is this weird or is it normal in your opinion? Thanks :)

    Depends. I usually call a woman a lady when speaking. Saying female or woman doesn't sound right most of the time.

    Haha this reminds me of my HS graduation. The Valedictorian was making his speech when he told all of the black men to stand up. He made a little speech and everyone applauded and they sat down. Then he told all of the females to stand up. (I think this is why I hate the word female XP) Everyone applauded and we all sat down. The end. He didn't acknowledge the White, Asian or Spanish guys or whoever else there was and I thought it was rude that he acknowledged all the girls together like it didn't matter what race we were b/c we're just females.

    I find this SO amusing because I don't like the words "woman/women" either!

    It's an ugly word to me...female and girl just sound so much better.

    It's normal though, I know plenty of people who dislike certain words. :D

    Your only mistake is assuming a 15 year old cant be a woman. Woman like man is a state of marturity not an age. Most "women" today especially the feminazi's are nothing more than over grown little girls with pubic hair. Until recently I have been homosexual because I never thought I could find a female partner who was not an immature little girl. Also I despise communist/socialists and there are a lot of women of that brand.

    I understand the feminists' point of view, but some people go overboard and ridiculous because they're so caught up in it. What they're saying may be rational or true, but getting so worked up about it isn't always necessary.
    And it happens with many other people when they're discussing something as well. They might be working up an argument but get carried away and become irrational. I see it often when people try to make a point.
    You most likely have developed the dislike of the word due to association with these people you find irritating. Realise they're just people with obviously very strong views and no one likes opinions being shoved down their throats.

    I hate that word too...I just use chick most of the time if they're in their teens the rest is lady or girl

    I hate the word woman too as an adjective like "woman writer" wtf??? I also hate woman beside GUY..It's supposed to be woman and man..and while I'm on the topic..why are feminists not raging over the word GUYS being used for females or mixed crowds? They freaked out over MEN being used as gender neutral..so now the switched it with GUYS? I don't get it!
