Is it normal that i hate that my boyfriend doesn't use facebook?

He has an account and very rarely goes on it. The only times he's really used it was when we broke up or when he was single. but once he's in a relationship, he refuses to use it, won't add me as his girlfriend, and doesn't acknowledge me online like I see other boyfriends doing for their girls. I know it's stupid and it's just Facebook, but a big part of me just wants him to share me with his friends and family since I'm a big part of his life. Instead, I feel invisible and sad that he never posts pictures of me or tags me in stupid cute things or whatever else young couples do. but he'll tag his friends on posts or comment on other people's posts once in a while. Just not mine. and we've been dating for more than a year.

    It's just a social media site. What matters is how he treats you around his friends and family in real life. The online social world is just a fantasy reflection of one's true life; a relationship that is great in person and around others is more fulfilling. Facebook isn't a portrayal of real life, and nor is one's real life truly reflected in it. If he's not on Facebook it just means he has other hobbies.

    You've been together for over a year and he hasn't even introduced you as his girlfriend? I can understand why this would aggravate you, he should want to do all those things that a normal couple would do and yes as odd as it is in todays age changing your relationship status on facebook is one of those things.
