Is it normal that i hate talking on the phone?

when i realize i can't see the person i'm talking to i get nervous and want to hang up

Wow totally the same! sometimes when people call instead of text me back I panic. I feel so embarrassed when I misheard things or have nothing to say. I thought I was the only one on this planet who afraid of talking on phone. Need to call customer service hotline now!!!

Me and the other person always interrupt each other while on the phone.

I used to Have a job being on the phones all day taking custmer complaints. I hated it. Now when my house phone rings I wait for the machine to answer it. Then if it's someone I know I may talk to them. But not long. I would rather text someone.

I can't stand it. I used to hang up the moment I couldn't think of something to say.

i'm the same way. i let them leave messages, sometimes i'll eventually call back, mostly i won't. family give me tons of shit about it too.

I will always let the machine pick up and the call back when I know the person won't be there. I can't stand the phone!
