Is it normal that i hate somebody on here?

There's this person on is it normal who I hate. I don't know them at all but as far as i've seen, they always reply rude and don't care about people's feelings and i think they must shut the f*** up if they don't wanna help. It bothers me that people thumb them up when they're just being too rude that it's not even funny. So I've been stalking them and I've seen they really should stop. What's the point on being that rude? Like, if they see somebody is so weird, there's no need to say something that sounds like "go to hell you're super rude i wouldn't never speak to you, you must have no friends you're a weirdo"

    Butthurt happens.

Everyone here that genuinely contributes (i.e. is not a serious troll) adds diversity to the community. I understand if you are offended, I understand also that the person in question may very well be MYSELF, however, everyone is different in how they say and take things.

It's quite normal to be offended by rudeness. I understand you being irritated, but I wouldn't let it get under your skin like this. You just have to remember, we're all just people behind the strength of a keyboard and anonymity. We're going to get out of hand sometimes, some more than others. It's not worth frustrating yourself over.

People on here are a mixed bunch. We're not all the same. We approach things differently and we see things differently.

My approach is similar to yours. In general, if people have genuine worries I don't see my role as kicking them while they're down just to make myself feel better about being me. But, like anyone here, we all have problems. None of us are perfect.

My attitude is usually not to leap directly to hate when I don't like or understand something. I'd rather understand why someone is different than me. More often than not, I learn something about myself in the process. And them too, of course. It's more productive that way.

Seems normal to me, mainly because there are 2 people on here I have no shame in hating. One of them has an obsession with division, and the other little twat thinks there's no such thing as rape, and gets butthurt if you reply to her shit. I'd love to see the two of them in a room full of rabid dogs.

It's an anonymous online community of anonymous, random people.

Sure, we all have some people here we don't agree with. Some are trolls, some are just idiots. And some are pretty awesome, actually!

It's like a miniature version of a real world, except that you don't really have to talk to anyone, unless you want to.

Don't take people too seriously, here or anywhere else.

I hate one person on here too. Or maybe two who don't understand what I'm saying and don't care to either. And one I don't really hate but don't like either, she defended someone who made fun of me on Tumblr and basically said it was my fault for asking questions that were "too personal" when really I was just generating chat. People overreact, is it so hard to understand? I don't want to get into this, it'll just end up pissing people off...again. I barely even post on this site anymore. I hate it overall now.

  • That seems like a pretty normal reaction you're having.
Those sort of people are disliked out in the real world for the same reasons, so naturally they'd be disliked on a social forum for the same behaviour. Either they are oblivious to how they are perceived or they are purposely doing it for attention.

I would never say that I have not felt the same as you just to make myself appear righteous and above it all. I've had a serious dislike for a couple negative individuals on IIN myself. In fact, I had tried to interact with them, hoping to make a difference, maybe... The thing is though, they never change and it is draining giving them any attention at all.

    Yes, you're not alone.
But ultimately you're exposing yourself to destruction by giving them attention.
