Everyone seems to love Seinfeld... but honestly, I find its humor incredibly unappealing. Everyone says the jokes on the show are "smart", but honestly, it is not that hard to understand any of those. In fact, the humor on the show revolves around very basic stuff.

I don't know, I just don't understand how people can love that show so much. Maybe it defined a new type of sitcom... but honestly, a lot of time has passed already... I feel like it is time to move on I guess.

    You should check out Curb your enthusiasm on hbo, it's about Seinfelds creator Larry David and it's funny as hell.

    I have always loved Seinfeld. I don't find it hard to understand at all and I don't think most people do. I view shows and movies as pure entertainment and I don't care to negatively judge them. I just sit back and enjoy.

    Either you get it or you don't. The fact that is about nothing and revolves basic stuff is the point. It is smart in that, it is in and of itself a joke. They also have some other stuff in there that a lot of people don't understand. Like the Pizza debate, playing off of abortion. I love it.

    You should look up "Seinfeld is Unfunny" on TV Tropes. That might explain why you don't like it.

    We can't all like everything, can we?

    The fact you don't like Seinfeld is really nothing to worry about.

    Sense of humour is a personal thing. Most comedy is total rubbish: it's good when you find something you like, but don't stress over something you don't like. It's all about about having taste and a personality.

    As you say: move on, I guess.

    I feel the same way. It fucking pisses me off.

    When I was in high school my history teacher had SEASONS of it. And everyone else loved that show. (GOD. WHY.) So naturally when there was a class party, or any god damned reason to watch a show we watched mother loving Seinfeld. It was torture. I had him multiple terms through out my high school career. I still cringe remembering those dark, dark times.

    So yeah, normal.

    we will sit you and strap you to a chair, forcing you to watch all the seinfeld episodes

    if you close your eyes or look away from the screen or make loud noises, you will get no dinner (soup), and you will have to stay in the chair until you have successfully watched all of seinfeld.

    I have a bet going with your mother that you will laugh uncontrollably at least 45 times.

    Seinfeld made about 200 million from that shows ten year run and it's cha ching every time an episode is aired in syndication.
    I doubt Mr. Seinfeld cares what anyone thinks.

    I was entertained by the show when it was still in production but like anything else it got old and you move on to something else.

    I personally love it. I only get TBS right now and its one of the shows i look forward to. I'm so sick of Tyler Perry right now.. tbs needs to give that guy a break. 3 Tyler Perry shows plus all those movies running constantly.

    I never got into Seinfeld, though it was right in my wheelhouse since those were my high school/college years. But I can't see how it would be hate-worthy.

        my girlfriend likes that show and she is mentally retarded. I have to bathe and feed her every day. When we go to the grocery store she has to wear a helmet because she will ram her head into the wall. But she laughs at all the seinfield episodes. She will say " Seinfeeeeeeild!! good!! more of that!! give me. thats funny greg!!"
