Is it normal that i hate school and this system we live in?

I hate school. The lessons, the bullying, everything.
First of all, I don't feel motivated because I realize how stupid all the things they teach us are. And I think I am the only one that thinks like this.
I am in the best school in my city, and it is one of the best in the country, too. And being able to get in this school wasn't easy.
The school I was in had teachers that only tried to give us worse grades and they probably thought that this will motivate us.
In the country I live in, they can give us grades about how we stay in the class. If you are a douchebag that only knows to cause sabotage to the lesson, then you get good grades. If you are like me, make drawings all over the books, and not in the notebooks (because they give grades to that too) (yes), then you get low grades. But I managed to get in this goddamn school. At least it was in a long time ago.

As I said, knowing that I won't use logarythms in real life makes me want to kill everybody in the ministry of education. Well, not really. I don't really want to kill them but they could make the teachers tell us about different things. This makes me not listen to the teachers etc.
Is it normal to feel this way? And for the kindness inside of you, can you please tell me how to listen to those logical but stupid to teach things? Thanks in advance.

First, where do you live? A third world country? To have had teachers that didn't know what logarithms are? (Not to insult but hey, everyone knows what a logarithm is)

I ain't complaining about them teaching me useless stuff that have a use when I get to have a decent job. I just happen to hate the system. And that's why I'm asking. You arrogant little shit.

Hey. Quit bad mouthing logarithms. Engineers use them everyday. So do Financial people. You are slamming the door on future job skills. Don't be a punk.

In this case I am a punk, not handsignals. And thanks for calling me that. Those kids that want to be engineers can learn logarithms. I don't care about that. I'm not saying it is bullshit. It is useless for me, though.

You are going to school to learn how to learn, not to be taught stuff you think you'll never use in life.
There are few things sadder than giving an adult a task to accomplish and have them look at you blankly and ask how to accomplish the task.
With the internet, books and libraries out there, knowing how and where to find answers and information is a skill few can get by without, these days.
With your attitude, I bet you'll be earning minimum wage most of your life. Now THAT'S something to look forward to, don't you think?

You don't know how I act in front of people, you don't know my attitude towards other things, really, do you know anything about me to tell me that I'll be earning minimum wage most of my life? Well, yeah okay thanks. Now move on.

Your post is an immensely childish rant against school. That must be some indication of who you are and the inclusion of "bullying" is rather telling.
When there is something one must do in life, there is very little value in bitching about it. It is much better to put your head down and forge ahead and just get it done.

School is nothing but good government bullshit. It mostly teaches people how to be good consumers and follow the status quo. Why shouldn't he be allowed to criticize that?

Yes, I will get it done. I just asked if it is normal to bitch about it when I am ALONE in my Goddamn room, okay? I am not spitting on teachers' face for it. They aren't guilty anyway. What the hell is wrong with you, people? Even people who ask if bestiality is normal do not gety this kind of hate.

First of all, why would you draw all over the books instead of the notebooks? I don't get it. What is so difficult about respecting the learning materials?

Now that that is out of the way, the reasons you go to school are to learn how to work with others, write well, do basic math, get a better global picture, find new interests, problem solve, and think. Additionally, time management is a huge lesson to learn as well. Just because logarithms may not be part of your daily life doesn't mean that you don't learn how to work with others on a group project, problem solve, and think in that process. School is all about learning skills that can be translated to almost anywhere you go in life. It's not necessarily the material that is important; it's more about what you do in the process of learning that material.

First of all, I have OCD and ADHD so that may be the cause of all that drawing.

Secondly, the only group project I had in this three years was about English. Which the others failed miserably by not applying what I said. They didn't care about what I said because I was new in that school. So in school I have learnt how to not trust anyone in the workplace. Thanks, school.

      Also, please read this.

Why not get a 50 cent notebook or sketchbook separate for drawings?

You may not think you're learning anything, but you will learn important concepts if you just open your mind, and right now, your mind seems to be fully closed off. You are in charge of your own learning, and you have tons of resources at your fingertips.

You did learn a valuable lesson: not everybody wants the same thing you do, so to succeed, sometimes that means you have to take things into your own hands. There are people you can trust; the people in your English group weren't them.

In addition, that article isn't accurate to every single school. There are great schools. There are less great schools. However, it is all dependent on your cooperation and attitude. If your attitude sucks, you're going to have a sucky high school experience.
