Is it normal that i hate playing with my toddler?

I have a 2.5 year old daughter and I just can’t stand playing games with her or with her toys. I must be the worst mother in the world. I can try and play to begin with but I can handle about 5 mins before I am bored out of my mind and then I can’t even do it for her! What kind of person does that make me?!

    It tells me that you are still learning this motherhood thing, nothing wrong with that.

    Rather than play with her take her out Instead. The park, baby friendly pool, mother & toddler groups. Some other way to bond & spend quality time together.

    I'm sure if I had to play with toddler toys I too would be bored within five minutes. The only things my 2.5 y.o. nephew was interested in were mobile phones, car keys, tv remotes & especially whatever I was attempting to eat.

    i dont recall my wife playing anything with our daughters, she read to them sometimes but mostly she just bought them shit non stop stuff to play with. or DVD to watch. so id say you are normal as fuck.
