I actually really love Dadaism, and I think it really mocked elitists in the art community.
It is normal to dislike something. Not everyone has the same tastes. :\ This question is stupid.
jsyk neo-dadaism is not dadaism and it really no longer makes fun of the elitists since, you know, dadaism already did that.

Hell, maybe he did ruin art. I get 0 respect from the average joe when they hear I'm an artist. "You're and artist? What a joke let me laugh at your career for a sec!"

You are entitled to your own opinion. Just remember that it is only an opinion.
That's just the way it is. We're all influenced by what went before. Aside from art, some things (especially fashion and music) seem to repeat in thirty year cycles, perhaps as each new generation discovers things for themselves.
