Is it normal that i hate my step sister for no reason?

My dad married my step mom about 2 years ago and when they did, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world since I was an only child and I was to have a brother and a sister. For about a year and a half or so, I got along perfectly fine with both of them (I still am with my step brother). But resently, ive deceloped a deep, passionate hate for my step sister and I cringe at every sound she makes, every breath she takes, and she just makes me sick to my stomach (keep in mind that she is the same age as me). She tries to talk to me, and I just sort of brush her off and give her one word answers, which I've gotten in a lot of trouble for before. It is really bugging me and I'm having trouble dealing with this constant hatred for her. Please help

maybe it's me but... i'm thinking you're attracted to her. and that you hate her because... you're trying to not be attracted

I totally agree, you might be attracted to her.
You should probably have sex with her

Would it be possible that you're subconsciously annoyed or irritated by your step sister? I think it's possible that your step sister has some kind of trait that actually annoys you, which you're not aware of. Or maybe you're just jealous of her for something but you aren't sure about your feeling?

There're just so many possibilities. Maybe it's just simply a feeling she brings you.

You're definitely not the only one who hates someone for no reason at all. I used to believe that I disliked a friend of mine for no reason, but finally I realized that I did dislike her for a reason. I was jealous of her but I wasn't aware of that.

You should really try to figure out why. There may be no reason after all. But if you don't want to let this 'hatred' (or I'd say dislike) keep bothering you, then you should tackle this feeling. I don't know how you can figure it out...but in my case, I observed my friend for a long while and found out that there's something she did that made me feel especially bad.

There's ALWAYS a reason, valid or otherwise. Have a deep think and try to get to the bottom of this problem. Or try having more fun with her and get to like her all over again.

If you hate her for no reason, is it possible that you can make a conscious effort to not hate her?
