Is it normal that i hate my step dad's way of saying things?

My step dad has these ways of saying things and they ALL annoy the hell out of me. If he wants somebody to hurry, he tells them to "Pop the clutch". If something is expensive, he calls it "Spendy". I know there are more, but I just can't think of them right now (thank God for small favors!).

Anyways, is this normal?

    Most stepparents are hard to her used to at first but as it goes on it will eventually stop bothering you. You could also ask him to stop.(if that's possible) GL;)

      I'd feel bad telling him to stop. It bugs me, but he doesn't know it bugs me, lol. I hope your right and it will stop bothering me. Thanks for the responses. :)
