Is it normal that i hate my mother?

Hi, im 19 years old, and I have always hated my mother:
She never stops talking about how my brother is better than me, how he is more atlethic and even how he has got a bigger penis (not a joke). She always says im stupid or that I'll never have a good job, she always calls me stupid, worthless or even retard at times. She doesn't stop controlling my life, everything must be as she says, she even tried to make me hate my dad (which is more of a better parent that she is) and overall just makes my life become sh*t. Is it normal?

    Not normal, sorry. Most moms love their kids and treat them equally. Maybe you were adopted?

    There is a complex that some mothers get. It usually is attached to their first born son. She basically, views her child as the sun-child, he can do no wrong, and she will go to extreme lengths to deny he is capable of doing anything wrong. The father is usually, physically & emotionally absent (travels or is buried in his work).

    I am not saying this is your circumstance, but if it is; there is nothing you can do to change how she treats you. Regardless of how well you perform, she is compelled to diminish your accomplishments because it does not sit right with her own manifestation of reality.

    You probably need to get out and find a healthy group of supportive people in your life.

      Yes, my brother is the first born son, but my dad is not absent, more than that he actually prefers me over my brother.
