I have a cousin sister,and she really loves me a lot..but I hate her! no matter how much I yell at myself and scold myself,I just can't stop hating her!
Is it a normal growing up problem,or should I go to a shrink?
Just to be clear...my cousin sister is my mother's sister's daughter. My aunt's daughter actually.
I hate her because...well,because she's such a wimp!Whatever I do,she has to go and blab about to someone else.
And also because there are so many things about her which my parents say I should have but which I just can't!! So I guess I'm a bit jealous too. And soo many other reasons!
But the bottomline is: I hate her!
Lastly, if your cousin is your sister, I doubt a shrink could help you as I think your family is beyond help.
Trying to be funny, but you are fine and it is okay to not like "family." Remember, you can pick your spouse but not your family.

I was just gonna ask that myself. I know someone in my town who had two kids with a couple of brothers, so the kids are half-brother/sister AND cousins. It's pretty messed up. Same mother, two different fathers, but the fathers are brothers. Only in a hicktown! lol
I just love "White Trash" people. I'm white so I can say that but every race has it's problems and people like this are ours. Also, I tend to hate our race's greed.
However, my future in-laws are the perfect example of "White Trash" mentality and my fiance gets annoyed when I joke about it after she nitpicks how much of a junkie my mom is.
I swear, sometimes it is like I am in a relationship like the show "Titus" with Christopher Titus staring in it.
