Is it normal that i hate my brother's girlfriend so much?

I've always hated my older brother's girlfriends.

My brother and I are very, very close and he always introduces his girlfriend to me and keeps bringing her home even though I show so blatantly that I don't like her.

it's not like his girlfriend ever tried to annoy me or being harsh to me. if anything, all the people around me think she is nice. they don't understand why I dislike her so much. when I think about it, I can't find any other reason besides the fact that she is my brother's girlfriend. that is enough reason for me.

the current girlfriend of my brother's is... VERY MUCH ALIKE ME and it annoys me even more. she shares the same birthday with me and people say the way she talks and acts is similar to me. they all say I should be flattered because my brother must love me so much that he chose her as his girlfriend but I don't like it. I don't know why.

but it seems like my brother is serious with this one. usually, he would break up with his girlfriends just because I didn't approve. but they're still together now and it's been 3 years. he is also at the right age of getting married and they look so in love with each other. I want to see my brother happy, of course, but when I try to imagine that I have to see HER every single day for probably the rest of my life just makes me sick. even thinking of her as a part of my family is too much for me to handle...

      Me and it feels exactly how you put it. But in my case she never even met my girlfriends in person just in picture and they all had better body than her lol i guess that explains everything.

    I think you're just jealous that she's taking your bro away from you. You spend less time with your bro, because he's always with her instead.

    The best solution would be to get along with her and hang out with both of them. Maybe you come to like her and your bro and you may even get along better if you approve.

    Try to think of her as part of the family. You wouldn't hate your own sister, right?

    I always try be indifferent to my bro's girlfriends.

    I went through this too although she actually did give me reasons to hate it her. They did end up getting married and all I can do is just be decent. You really need to reevaluate why you hate her so much and I bet you'll find she's really not that bad.

    i think you have romantic feelings for your brother. i mean being so close to someone only to have that person find someone with your qualities and start a romantic relationship with them... that must be hard. i think you should just kiss him and hope for the best.
