Is it normal that i hate loud and sharp noises?

I really hate loud and sharp noises. When I'm somewhere and people are really loud I start to freak out. The same is for sharp noises. When someone is talking to me and says something sharp I have a tendency to flinch back.

Groups of loud cackling women, I run for cover like I'm leaping from an explosion.

A mature individual can deal with the opposite of dullness.

I remember once this guy ran his fingers down the chalkboard while our German teacher had stepped out of the room, and this one chick was so freaked out that she cried. It was a good day! I don't like that sound and the bodily sensations it produces, but it was worth enduring to enjoy such an entertaining spectacle!

Yeah it's normal, whatever the saw with a round blade is called, it makes the most awful noise ever.
