I usually doodle or draw things in class or at home, and I hate it when people view my works of art. I'm not too worried on them judging me, but I just can't stand people peering at my art. When someone walks by I try to cover it up with a book or put it away. When they walk away, I continue to draw.
If someone views my art before its fully created then I feel insecure and I feel thier judging me but after I'm done I like to proudly show it to the world because there isnt anything eles I can do with it! Yes its normal to hate it when people view you art but at least show it to the people you care about.
I'm the same way. With finished pieces of art I'm all like, "Look at it! Look at it! I want all of you to look at it!" But I always keep works in progress hidden like they're government secrets or something. People always get offended when they catch me blocking my art from their view, but I don't care. They need to wait until I'm done in order to look. D:<
I don't mind people looking at the finished product, but when they watch me draw the whole thing it puts me off. I can feel their eyes on me. :|
I hate it too. Whenever someone's like "let me see what you drew!" I never want to show them because they either get snobby and think they can do better or say "omygod that's amazing! Stop being so good at everything!" the only time I don't mind is if they're a fellow artist and they're giving constructive criticism.
I think you should want to show it off! unless it's garbage, or something embarrassing. I love getting feedback form my work. I want to WOW people
i have art on my bedroom walls my parents all ways drag thier friends in to look at it.. its so annoying.
I feel the same way. I hate anyone viewing my art. I don't know why. I don't like my art and I think it is horrible but other people do o.o
I hate it too so I kept it to myself. However, I'm okay if someone views it online... I don't feel like I'm being judged.
