I hate it when someone is watching an episode, but they don't listen to everything, they are busy with a task such as texting or discussing something with their friend, and then they say that they didn't like the show, or they didn't understand it. is it normal that this pisses me off?
I have to admit, this irritates me. Especially so if it's something you love and you want them to at least give it a shot.
YES! i hate it! My pop is really bad with doing this. He just keeps changing the channels over and over again, even if he cycles though all of them 50 times he will keep going! He does this all while talking about anything he can think of, and he pays no attention to the bloody TV! I just want to watch some goddamn TV!!!

Yes I hate this too and this is why I don't watch TV with certain people. I never watch TV shows I really really love with people because I want/need complete and utter silence. Another thing I hate is when the show has been on for only 2 minutes and already they're saying its boring...
...wth...
I don't find this annoying unless they are distracting me. What do I care if they want to watch a show or not? I only insist on silence for shows that I watch obsessively or have a complex plot line.
