Is it normal that i hate it when girls wear sweatpants in public?

How is any of that NOT acceptable? I went to the shops last night with a stain on my jeans because I'd spilled food on myself. I could have changed my jeans but I actually thought, "All I've done is spill something on myself. If people are going to judge me for that, then fuck them".

I'm female and I wear sweatpants everywhere. I don't see what the big deal is. If other women are going to judge me for choosing comfort over style, then they're shallow bitches who I have no time or patience for.

why do you care?

I wear men's sweatpants.. The Nike kind. With a long-sleeved shirt and nice kicks. Totally not unattractive. Comfort is key too.

Agree with Dappled. Also i'm a girl and I do wear sweatpants but when I wear them I wear boys ones, like my boyfriends for example. I don't so it often but I think it is just so comfortable. I don't like the ones you described though like I think if you are going ot wear tight ones then why not just wear jeans?

I can see where ur coming from. I have seen girls look cute tho. Like if they're athletic and they have them rolled up just below the knee with cute running shoes and a fitted workout shirt with a neat ponytail. I'm not into girls but I do find them adorable when they dress like that.

Personnally i think sweatpants on girls are extremely sexy :)

I'm split on this.
People DO wear them more than they should, they aren't casual attire, they're sweatpants and should be worn as such. A worse problem is pyjamas in public, that should NEVER happen, whether you're out of your cabin at camp, grocery shopping or out with friends, PJs aren't acceptable ever.

I wear sweats around the house (my BF uses them as 'lounge pants', so I'll use them if I don't have PJs lying around), the gym or during my period.
If I'm walking back from the gym or walking (fun, but actively) with a friend, I'll wear them.

I always wear them knee-high with a fitted top. Having them down is kind of restricting and weird.

Its your responsibility to recognise if a person's wearing them for use (fitness, sleepwear) or laziness (wasn't bothered to put jeans on for a movie).

Sweatpants are just a way to show that 'hey look at me! im lazy and i (am going to) have 3 kids by 4 fathers!'

Well, my body is one of those with a small waist and big hips, so my jeans usually fall down because it is really hard to me to find the adjustable pants to my body. So I realized that the only pants I could keep in place are sweatpants , and therefore I am buying more. So, don't judge, some people just want to be comfortable. Hahahah, and I also think they are sexy. ÷)

I have never worn them in public in my whole life. Ever. However, I would not judge a girl (or guy) that did. Choosing comfort over looks can be quite understandable.

The way you described it sounds awful, but that's how some girls like dressing. I'm a girl, and I don't wear sweatpants in public unless it's cold, and it's SO comfy. And they're easy to put on if I'm going to walmart or something.

Well maybe someone is having a low day where they feel blah and ugly or they've gained weight and can't fit into pants. Or they are on their period or sick or have cancer and are constantly cold I have a friend she has cancer she wears that kind of stuff and me I wear pink sweatpants that I got in la and I fight depression and I use to be 120 lbs now I'm 135 I feel ugly and sweatpants are comfy and a security blanket for me so don't hate on sweatpants
