Is it normal that i hate humans?

I hate humanity. I hate Humanity because humans are evil, selfish, inferior to other creatures, worthless, greedy, stupid, and narcisstic. We live too long (a 60-90 year life expectacy is a long time), we think we're the best creatures to exist when we're no where close to being "Superior" (In fact we're less than dirt), we serve no purpose here and I hope that we all die out soon so the world can recover and be a glorious humanless planet once more. IIN?

I do see where you're coming from with certain parts of this. I don't hate humans, but I do hate some of the things that some of them do. Can't say I'm majorly convinced by an argument which states that humans are superior to other animals, yet when it comes to the bad stuff, we suddenly become the same as any other animal. As in, humans are highly moral, logical beings, and in this we're superior to other animals; if so, then isn't it worse when a human does something that *we* consider to be evil? Pfft, I don't know. Someone will have to clear that one up for me, because I don't really get it.

I don't think we're less than dirt, nor do I think we're inferior.

The main problem I have with what you're saying, though, is that you're being completely one-sided. What about all the wonderful things people do? People do good things all the time, try to remember that.:)

We may serve no purpose but then nothing in the universe actually does and without humans there would not even be awareness that there is a universe with matter inside of it in the first place. Worrying about "the planet" and how humans ruin it is so silly when you tthink of it since it isn't even aware of itself

Man is the only living being on this earth that is able to fight it's own nature, surely that must been we're special somehow?

Other animals are also purposeless, selfish, greedy and even more stupid.

There are trees that have lived for literally thousands of years. Sixty is a drop in the ocean compared to that. What does living for a long time have to do with it, anyway?

Other animals do plenty of things that would be described as "evil" if a human did them - mass murder, rape, cannibalism etc. Nature isn't fluffy and lovely and perfect (that's called "fantasy", and it's the opposite of nature) whether it has humans in it or not. Nature *made* us. We *are* nature, so how can we be a blight on it?

We are a part of nature, but I don't understand how that would mean we couldn't be a "blight" on it. What do you mean? I mean, do humans not destroy nature?

The way I see it is that nature itself is the constant. It's very, very difficult to completely destroy nature - if you change the conditions of nature to destroy one part of it those new conditions will allow different species to thrive in the space of extinct species. Like the thawing of the ice age was terrible because it allowed some species like mammoths to go extinct, but there are all sorts of new species today that would never have thrived if it weren't for that same thawing. The same thing happened with the mass extinction of dinosaurs. Nature, within limits, always equalises for change and then re-diversifies. Sometimes it takes a long time, but even if it does what's a few million years compared to the life of the planet?
If climate change becomes truly catastrophic and millions of species go extinct (which is actually already happening), there will be new species that are more adapted to the new conditions that will emerge in the future. The diversity of nature will be the same, eventually, it will just be a different incarnation of nature.

I hope that makes sense. Nature itself won't have been destroyed, only the current incarnation of nature which will make way for a new one. At least, that's my take on it; maybe you disagree.
What *will* be catastrophic is that the total number of *individual* deaths will be high (that is, more individual animals will die than if climate wasn't changing). I was probably too blanket with my words - that *will* be a terrible thing despite nature eventually equalising for it and it will be the fault of humanity.

    @thr

Or hear a lion say "you know what, gang, I think we can make a kill next week, so I think we should just leave a bit more meat for the vultures"?

    hahaha that was awesome.

I assume you are comparing humans to other creatures of nature on Earth.

Humans are superior to most other creatures on earth when it comes to intellectual thought, planning, language and tool-making.
Whether we're worthless, well, according to whom?

Pertaining to selfishness and greed: When was the last time you saw a tall tree in a forest say "Oh, I'll just stop growing so much, so that some of you smaller trees can get some of the sunlight"? Or hear a lion say "you know what, gang, I think we can make a kill next week, so I think we should just leave a bit more meat for the vultures"?

What universe cares how long a creature lives?

    What serves any objective purpose?

If there are no humans around, will there be anyone to revel at the beauty of a humanless planet?

On whether your way of thinking is normal, I think it's normal for people with Asperger's Syndrom.
