Is it normal that i hate humans?

I feel like humans dont deserve anything we have, and that its not right that we just came here and killed everything just for our own enjoyment, like kidnapping animals from their habitats to put them in the zoo, or the pound. is it normal that I hope that one day, the animals will evolve and get revenge on the humans and destroy the earth just so we can understand that what we do is wrong.

Classic human psychology; "If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn't, cut it down."

I'll stick up for zoo's though. The zoo's main purpose is to nurture and breed endangered animals that have had their habitats destroyed. So they have their roots in ecology and the animal's best interests in terms of their survival. The fact you can go there and view the animals is just a chance for them to charge you an admission fee which helps fund the work they do there.

I think you have to be careful not to put all your eggs in one basket. Sure, there are people who have been destructive and inconsiderate to the earth, the ecosystem and society but there is a flipside to that, people who, through science and medicine are striving for innovation to improve and sustain the life on this planet. It's not fair to label them all the same.

There are many times when I hate being human. I hate knowing how flawed I am and what my race does to the world. I hate being considered better than animals. I hate thinking so hard about nothing. I hate expecting what others fight for. I hate the selfishness, the greed, the inequality. I hate the human condition and the suffering of just being alive.

The only way I can stand being human is loving others. If I can lessen the struggle of others than I have purpose.

You sound just like me, I've made a question just like this. When it comes to zoos, the animals are not in their natural habitat, people always say 'oh it saves them from extinction' yet it's human beings in the first place who have hunted/killed them into extinction. We We live in a zoo called 'society'

This is such a dumb perspective. I've addressed similar sentiments here before and I honestly can't be bothered to do it again. Sorry to be mean.

Actually I'll bulletpoint since now I can be bothered :) :
      - Humans are animals, our behaviour is natural, we have as much right to develop and succeed as any other. We don't deserve to suffer for being the most successful animal in the kingdom.

      - Our sense of morality and ethics, the thing that actually makes you, OP, care about what we do to the environment, is something very human. It's what makes many of us respect and love other animals and the world around us upon which we rely. It's also what holds society together and why we are the top of the food chain.

      - We only know what we as a species have done wrong or could have done better NOW. It's only because of our rapid expansion and dominance that we have the tools to understand how we can change for the better.

      - If you blame all humanity for the actions of some, then you are a dumb person. Ignorant and full of prejudice. If you wish your entire species (including yourself) some awful fate just because we're not perfect, then I hope you're first to be eaten by the Triffids.

    Incorrect.

Humans did not 'come here and killed everything just for our own enjoyment'. We more often caused massive environmental damage, in order to survive.

Humans can also have a positive benefit on the environment around them, if they are very, very careful in what they do, related to the natural environment.

Sadly, this has been, more often than not, the case.
We seldom learn from our past mistakes.
Some people continue to be greedy, selfish and stubborn (remember that greed is not exclusively monetary in nature).

Still, it is not appropriate to hate anyone.
It is better to become a Diplomat, and to strive to change the worst offenders behaviours (Don't forget about yourself. We often see others as being the problem, but neglect to look at our own destructive behaviours).

I also hate humans. Remove a mosquito from a swamp, and then ecosystem will collapse. Remove humans from the entire planet and it will flourish. Really says something about how fucking stupid we really are.

What we have done isn't necessarily wrong.
You seem like an animal lover, and a "save the forests" kind of guy and all that.
In all fairness I do support that. Besides every animals life in my eyes, is equal to ours and, more important than mine.

BUT. It is survival, you cannot say we don't deserve what we have now. We have fought hard to make the world what it is today. Millions, no. Billions have given their lives to make the world what it is today. Most animals, don't rationalize they see us as a meal, plain and simple. In stone age time, how many people do you think were killed by a sabre tooth tiger, how many women and children? How many men died in wars to stop dictators and evil tyrants to keep their families safe? Everything we have done up to this point has never been bad. It has and always will be understandable. We are surviving. If what we have done all this time is wrong, then the world would be tons worse than it is now my little friend.

Not everyone is as cold hearted and evil as you depict them to be. About... 0.01% of the population has even abused an animal. 99.99999% of the population has killed an animal. Including yourself. The only people who haven't are the people who have been paralyzed from the neck down since birth, and have been blind, deaf and dumb, without arms and legs and even then, that's a maybe.

There isn't "really" any right or wrong. Who defines what we do as wrong? Some person? God? No. What is interpreted as right and wrong differs between individuals. What you see as wrong, others will not, what you think is right, others will think is wrong.

In all fairness. What we are doing is right. I can bet if animals did "evolve and rise up" you'd be grovelling at their knees for forgiveness. You are to blame as much as the rest of us. They wouldn't say we done wrong. We done what was necessary.

You're generalizing, obviously only a small proportion of people are like that. There's both good and bad in humanity, it's just that we hear about the bad things more. Most of the time you don't hear about the good deeds, I suppose because most good deeds don't kick up a fuss.

Humanity can be beautiful if you just look in the right places.

Well you are also a human. I believe you are a misanthropic narcissist (you hate humans but love yourself) which is a paradoxical state of being. You may not directly hate humans as much as despise certain qualities which you have observed in many of them.
