Is it normal that i hate france (im from quebec)?

Persons from France piss me off. They're mostly gay-looking and dirty. Then, because we use the same words with a TOTALLY DIFFERENT accent, we are also suffering from people who think french is gross. We are still from fucking Canada. We havent had contact with France for over 350 fucking years.

Maybe France needs to be less gay or people just need to understand were not the same.

You are now banned from Canada! You're a homophobic prick!

  • France gave you your language. Without them, YOU wouldn't exist not as you are today.

And seriously? France is gay? I never knew a country had a sexual orientation.

Also, how the hell did this get approved? I feel my IQ went down just reading it.

My best guess, is that you are descended from one or more of the 'habitants'. One or more of your early ancestors in New France probably objected strongly to their obligations imposed by the seigneur and by extension the French crown. I find it amazing sometimes how these prejudices can persist, being passed down from generation to generation.

    I agree with Avant-Garde.
    What's wrong with France anyway?
    "They're mostly gay-looking and dirty"???
    Nice stereotyping.
Have you ever been to France or are these Canadians who speak French you're talking about?

I'm from Canada (the english part) and the stereotype is all frenchies (those from Quebec) are stuck-up horn-dogs. I know tons of people who love France and hate the frenchies. I've been to Quebec several time and the disrespect they show towards english speaking person is disgusting, and now that people who speak english and disrespecting the frenchies, they bitch about like everything else.

Its so obvious that you're not living in Quebec. You clearly don't know anything about the social context. In Quebec the first language is FRENCH, and most of the English speaking people who lives in Quebec don't know and don't even try to learn french. cuz they don't give a fuck. So i think its normal that some people are piss off about not being able to speak the official language of their own province. You would probably never understand until it happens to you.

I speak french... Just not Quebec french. But what does that have to do with hating on France. In what way are they dirty or "gay" which in its self an offensive term.

I've VISITED Quebec, and its annoying when they get offended because someone is speaking English. I live not far from Toronto, and there you have people who speak all kinds of languages, even French, that try to communicate with you. Do you think I get all haughty over the fact they can't speak English? No, because Canada is all about accepting others from different cultures, may that culture be French or otherwise.

No. I'll have you know that Canada was originally colonised by France. So instead of insulting then, you should be thanking them for helping to start The beautiful country of Canada! Also, Quebec is a french speaking city so, you should also thank France for contributing for your Language. Don't stereotype a whole nation based on a few people you may or not have met. Go to France and get to know them and their country. You'll probably find out that you have allot in common.

    Au Revoir!

Yes, it is normal that you hate France, and I am gonna tell you why.

Considering French Canadians originally came France, aren't you just hating yourself?

I realize your culture has developed into it's own identity apart from "the French", but there are many people of French Canadian decent that live outside Quebec and possibly inside Quebec for that matter that don't differentiate between the two, aside from the dialect and Canadian/Acadian cultural influences on the French in Canada over the last few hundred years. They realize the originally came from France once upon a time.

Quebec is the hillybillies of the french language. And about Quebec being part of Canada, if you follow the news, all of Quebec is trying to seperate themselves fromt the rest of Canada, and become there own country. Which is stupid, of course, but then hold over two votes on it and about half the province wants it.
