Is it normal that i hate fat acceptance?

Fat people are ugly, but they have the choice to change the way they look. So why should we pretend that they are hot when we all think they look like fucking shit. Just look at all the ugly ass women on buzzfeed for example. Why don't wr just tell the truth so that they can change?

No not all fat people can change the way they look. Its called medical conditions that affect your weight and you think they look ugly but lots of people disagree.

agreeing with cookiecutter here, there are various medical issues that can prevent weight loss or make it incredibly hard to achieve, some examples would be thyroid problems and polycestic ovarian syndrome. of course not every overweight person has a medical reason and there are people who are just lazy, but that doesn't mean every single person is like that.

i'll use myself as an example, i have thyroid problems and PCOS which is generally a shitty time all around, i take pills for my thyroid which slightly helps but there's nothing i can do about the other issue unless i get a hysterectomy, but i'm poor and have no money.

i'm not obese but i am overweight, i eat a healthy amount of fruit/veges daily and stay away from anything unhealthy (chocolate, chips, biscuits, soda, etc.) and try to be active everyday. i'm still overweight despite this, i actually really do wish i could look thin and lean but it's just not going to happen.

Normal dude. I don't get the "fat acceptance" movement either. I mean, fat people shouldn't be ridiculed for being that way. But to tell them that it's good, and even encourage/promote it? That's something I can't support.

Anyway, like LGBT, it's an agenda set in motion by SJWs and fat/chubby people themselves. No surprise there.

Most of society is not attracted to fat people.

Its just because we associate fat with being unhealthy

Makes sense. But yes, everyones own opinion

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I hate to sound so cliche, but beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. I've seen some good looking "fat" people, but that's personally not someone I would date because I've always been attracted to men with my body type; lean. But then again. there are many people out there that literally exclusively like dating chubbier people. You don't have to like them, but why does it bother you to see others get accepted? The way you're acting is the way insecure people act.

True. I think he or she must have some body issues of their own, otherwise they wouldn't be so hateful about this kind of thing.

All in all it depends on the circumstances and not everyone who is 'fat' for instance 'is fat' for the exact same reason and assuming so is (at the risk of sounding pretty harsh; But a observation is an observation) pretty darn ignorant tbh.

And it can do a lot of good for ones mental health to be comfortable in their own skin without people being asinine dicks about it 24/7.

So i'd say its not normal but in all honesty not everyone thinks about everything the same so *shrug*
Also it varies for everyone but at the same time this is also a statement coming crom somebody who doesnt think about looks much at all and places more value in somebody's personality and traits/morals than whether they are skinny/fat/chubby/whatever.

Oh health reasons are why people should be skinny and bah blah blah but shhh quiet not everybody has the same genetic disposition for the same basic body type so you really gotta look at the thousands of variables here and what is 'reasonably healthy' and what is 'just an unnatianable beauty standard in society' that some people might be able to fall under that catergory without effort and some cant.

There is a lot of variance here and for somebody who has put up with hearing needless fat shaming their entire life when dealing with others (or even a fat roomate fat shaming another tenant of the building who was slightly chubby) you do tend to get reeaalllyyy sick of it really quickly and your first thought switches to 'not this fucking shit again'

But hey would it kill for society to let people with some fat in their bodies to be comfortable in their own skin? No it would not.
And people have different coping mechansms and in some cases people can stress eat or overeat when horridly upset or depressed and it turns into a (genuinely) unhealthy cycle because some fucks couldnt keep their trap shut and just leave the person be and just fucking stop being dicks.

Also there might be health reasons involves or just *gasp* simply personal prefrences and they like how they look with a bit of meat on their bones rather than being skinny or trim for their build.

But there is somehwere in the middle and extremes on both sides but 'ey i'm not getting into that. Not really my topic that.

Sorry it kijda turned into a rant but...eh. Felt like it really needed to be said.

Depends what you consider fat... If you're considering like a size 9 fat, then you're wrong, but if you mean fat fat, like obese.. then I agree... I mean, We shouldn't be direct and say you fattie, but we should kinda encourage them to eat healthier or whatever... I get that some people can't help it due to health issues, but for the ones who can, I soooo agree... Same with people who are twigs... Like anorexic people... It's horrible and unhealthy and needs to be stopped... I HATE when people tell fat people who can help it that they're beautiful the way they are... Yeah, Everyone's beautiful, but why don't you be a real friend and help him/her out? :/

I've dated too many "big girls", giving them a chance, and have to say..No more. Just can't do it anymore. Most are unclean (told the last one that, and she flipped out, screaming), disgusting, and, not only accept their own fat bodies, but, go out of their way to bring attention to it. That, by itself, makes me sick, to see a fat woman think they're gorgeous, and bring attention to their fatness. It's why fat women usually have photos taken by lakes, mountains, etc..It makes them look smaller by comparison!

Dated another one, who had all of the books, DVD's, etc, for working out, healthy living, all that..And had the bag of cheese curls and brownies by her bed.. Sorry, I just can't anymore. I don't accept fat women.

After personally dealing with people that are in fat acceptance groups, I can see why you feel that way. The ones I dealt with always whined about how no one they pursued would date them because of their weight. They whined that people should change their dating preference so their feelings won't get hurt. They'd also ridicule skinny people and turn on any of their friends that dared to lose weight. They were lazy and basically admitted to not wanting to diet and exercise.

However, those, loud, obnoxious, sjw idiots are not a representation of fat acceptance as a whole. There are sweet, kind, generous, people who can't lose weight naturally due to injuries, genetics, or disorders.(I've seen some of these people try so hard and spend so much money.) If fat acceptance helps them, then I'm all for letting them be happy in their own skin.
    :)
