Is it normal to hate dumb people and want to hurt them. Like, if I see someone talking about how they think the Earth is flat or say stuff about chakras and energy, I want to punch them in the face or worse
C'mon! Why be a hater? Embrace differences, be tolerant, smile, welcome change and try to make a positive difference - refuse to settle for being a parasite. Just because you don't understand something you don't need to be scared and hateful. You poor little thing open your mind.

You don't have the power to change them, but you do have the power to walk away and not care.
I don't think my IQ is terribly high and I don't think I'm particularly intelligent, however I do personally believe in most energy related practices, which yes, include "chakras"...not that I'm particularly sold on chakras myself.
You should actually do your research in to these topics before you go ahead and bash the people who believe in them or believe in aspects about them. The earth being flat is another thing all together...but energy and energy manipulation is as real as the air you breathe. Your entire body is made up of energy, if it weren't you wouldn't be alive. I'm not saying you can fly or shock people with energy balls however. I'm saying certain vibrations and frequencies are able to change aspects about the human mind and body.
Anyway.
In general, I think it's no better to want to punch people who believe in these things in the face. I understand your frustration about extremely stupid people...but not taking the chance to understand their beliefs and educating them for the better [if applicable] is ignorant to the problem in the first place.

Why would you want to hurt some one if you think there wrong about some thing you could try talking to them and if it doesn't work just forget about it no reason to hurt any one.
