I find it so stressfull and I'm good at doing others nails but I cannot do mine without messing it up because I touch it by accident. I also have really nice slim nAils.
Its like a sin over here in the black community to not do your nails..i hate it..i like my nails short..because I bite them and physically ready to punch..with nails I cant do that
I get not wanting to do them. Me I love painting my nails. The main thing I hate about doing them, is getting on my skin. So, women not wanting it on your skin I totally get. If you worried about patience. You have to be patient doing them. Women talk alot anyways. So, doing them should be no problem. For guys who do them since talking may not be your strong suit. Try counting and have the TV on, before putting in a disc, or turning the channel. I'm totally fine with manly man too.
Older sister has very long, always polished (variety, but red and aqua-blue are my favorites on her) nails, sometimes 2" or a bit more. Women have been complimenting her on them for years, often asking her to do theirs, but, she won't do it. Tried a few times, and says can't get someone else's nails like she does her own, mostly because of angle or positioning. Knows how to move or not move her own long, sinewy fingers, but not others.
This past Summer, in fact, she had them at almost 2 and a half inches, red, and, a woman at a mini-mart offered her $100 to do hers. Then $150. Still said no. I told her, hell, for 150, I'll polish the women's nails for her..
Nothing wrong with that.
I too have a hard time not using my hands for tasks while waiting for polish to dry.
So I usually don't bother doing them for quite a long time.
I have no patience for it and find it a waste of time. I also use my hands so painted nails don't last 20 minutes. However I do have a clear coat on right now and they look very pretty.
