Is it normal that i hate country accents?

I hate people that talk with that country accent (like texas) it bothers the crap out of me and makes me literally cringe. Even if its a really nice person, i'll completely blow them off because i just can't deal with that accent.

    I don't mind Texas accents, but swamp accents are completely incoherent. Ever watch the show Swamp People? You can't even understand them.

    I'm the exact same way. I can't stand Southern accents. Of all the accents in the world, this is the only one that I hate with a passion.
    I hate it so much, that I've developed a phobia of anything southern related. I could never date someone with that accent. It doesn't matter if they are really nice, the minute I hear the accent I'll be turned-off forever.

    There's something "unintelligent" about the accent. I know there are allot of intelligent southerners, but regardless of your class if you have this accent you will most likely sound like a hillbilly.

    I hope I don't offend anyone with my view, that is not my intention.
    But I really can't handle this accent and the culture that stems from it.
