Is it normal that i hate cities?

I absolutely hate cities. Not even the one I live in more than others. I just do. They're dirty, crowded, the people are shitty quality, and eceryhtjjng hs expensive. Does anyone else feel this way about cities? And I'm in Pittsburgh, America's most livable city.

Did you have a spasm halfway through typing that?

Uzzie101, cities are not what you think of them to be. Pollution, crime, expensive parking and hectic is what they are.

I had no idea Pittsburgh was America's most livable city. These polls rarely capture what "livable" means to me. Not that I know enough about Pittsburgh to make this kind of judgment.

I think it's pretty normal to hate cities. Large cities tend to take away that sense of community. Especially in suburban sprawl. It is horrible to not know who your neighbors are.

    Sorry, I meant everything.

  • I'm not a fan either. Gross masses, like a festering sore on the face of the planet. I think they look a lot better when they have a significant amount of green-spaces.

I live in a really small town, and I think of cities as being a "promised, mystic, arcane land" with loads of stuff to do.
