Is it normal that i hate certain advertisements?

Namely private companies selling... drugs!
Seriously, I can't figure this out. Why the hell would a company advertise a drug you can only get if your doctor gives it to you? Should advertising drugs like these be illegal?

    I know! It's not like we go to the grocery store and pick it out. Probably makes prices increase also
