Is it normal that i hate call of duty, and all war games?

I don't see where you think the veterans would be insulted.. it's not supposed to be REAL war, it's a war GAME, meant to give us fun.

You can dislike the games all you want, but they are entertaining for the 2+ million people that play them.

try battlefield 3 its more on the realistic side.. atleast way more than call of dookie & lmao at the wheelchair comment

I find the whole concept of them absolutely disgusting. They add glamour to war, and I honestly see them as the newest recruitment tool. I don't see them as disrespectful, however that's probably because I've got no respect for "our heroes". War disgusts me, and anyway: peace is cheaper.

I like playing Uncharted more than any of those games, plus there's awesome locations and I find it more interesting.

Games do need some realism to much destroys it though...

I've pretty much quit gaming entirely now. I was hooked on Call of Duty of a year and a half and Guitar Hero for a year or so before that, but stopped because I realised that if I was going to avoid having a life, I should at least do something productive whilst inside and alone. Then I found IIN, and that plan went out the window as well.

I find FPS games really boring. I liked them for about a year but they're all the same. Just ever more realistic ways of shooting people in the face. Can't we have something a bit more thought-provoking?

I agree with you though, you are just expecting MORE from war games which is understandable, BF3 truly rocks though! :)

You should try Battlefield 3! Its really good! The maps are like huge landscapes, you can get in tanks, helis, jets, jeeps, you can stay out of the big fight and not run round like a crazy person and try to sniper people from miles away! (Which is hard because of how very realistic the sniping is!! I'd say at least give it a shot then see what you think about that!

In my opinion, FPS games do get boring kinda fast. When I was into video games more I liked strategy games, like Civilization 3 and 4.

I'd say it's normal. It's essentially making a "game" out of pretending to be a badass and murdering pixels on a screen.

Suspension of disbelief. Just like with movies.

I agree its stupid, no way could I take orders like that and go running at the enemy in huge sitting duck groups. The spy idea is much more intelligent.
