Is it normal that i hate beating around the bush?

I'm one of those skinny and nerdy "nice guys" with glasses, daydreamer with high moral values, and desperately losing my speech when it comes to talking to a girl who attracts me very much, as when it comes to expressing my feelings and thoughts, I'm rather straight to the point and would say in just a few words what many would say in an endless speech. So when I try to do "small talk" to a girl I like very much and beat around the bush as it's the required and "normal" thing to do, I lose my speech, and don't find much to say, then I become ridiculously mute like a fish.
Most of the time I feel like an alien from another planet, in the "normal" world of beating around the bush correctness. My dream is to find a daydreamer girl with high moral values, and who is blunt and straight to the point like me. Crazy, right?

"Brevity is the soul of wit."

You spent 2 paragraphs telling us you don't beat around the bush.

What exactly does "high morale values" have to do with being direct anyway?

The straight to the point thing is bang on! Wish I didn't have to play the guessing game with girls. I hate such nonsense. Get to the point, quickly. Whenever there is something I have to discuss with my girlfriend, I feel like I have to win a gameshow before getting to the problem itself.

I was just like that. I went steady with a girl in high school & never kissed her. One time when I was at her house she came running into her bedroom and flew at me & planted her lips on mine. It was nice, but put me off. Now that Im way, way older, I say what I want. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, but Im no longer tongue tied in front of others.

my advice is stop being a follower of man and be a leader. its learned behavior by the way. It not a natural skill anyone is born with. you claim to be smart but you didnt know this apparently

    • Nickvey, very good advice, until you get on your high horse and tell I "claim to be smart". Even if I did, and I didn't, smart people aren't supposed to know everything, especially when it comes to relationships, which are often the Achilles heel of very mathematical minds.

you do realize that there are different kinds of intelligence, and that people who are often gifted academically tend to be rather lacking when it comes to social interactions, and tend to be rather socially awkward.
