Is it normal that i hate all (if not most) pregnant teens?

I pretty much hate the way teens get when they find out their pregnant.

When they know they cannot afford to keep the baby they drag their parents down expecting that they'll pay for their baby (maybe not all teens do this but the ones I know do) anyway

I hate the way they start to get all baby crazy just because they weren't smart enough to use protection correctly and tell everyone about how proud they are, then their kiss ass friends support them with comments like "omg congrats girl name it after me" instead of thinking about the real things like how your actually throwing away you're life /: how the heck are you supposed to pay for college and a baby, and the worst part is their boyfriends don't even bother marrying them or even wanting to stay their boyfriends at all anymore, that they are only there to take care of the baby now

i'm sorry but is any of this normal?

  • I know where you're coming from. I usually laugh whenever I hear a teen mom story because the girl has ruined her life.

  • I agree. It's stupid how now the girls have something to look forward to like those dumbass TV shows. Ugh it disgusts me. They're just being immature..

What all this leads to is a black woman in Florida with 15 chirrin by 3 men, the last one in jail, and her screaming that someone needs to be accountable and who is going to feed "these" kids. She was yelling that someone is going to pay for this. See, none of this is her fault.

Ted Kennedy got his dream and this is it.

Have you ever thought about the ones who are rape victims??? One of my friends was raped at 16 and to forget about the wholething she starting acting all happy an planing baby showers just to get over it. Her parents kicked her out for being impure and that's just how she delt with it. Act happy and tell everyone that your proud and leave out the rape part.

You're still young, some women naturally just want to be mothers and do so at a young age. That doesn't make them bad people or bad mothers though.

I think what s/he means, at least this is how I'm interpreting it, is that these teen moms are almost proud that they got pregnant, when really it just an accident, and they believe that getting themselves knocked up makes them feel like an adult, when it doesn't make them an adult- it just makes them look like a slutty teenager, regardless of whether or not they are.

so... what? you want them to HATE their babies to make you happy?

it sounds like you've decided there's only one course of action they should take. and why should they give up a baby just because YOU don't like it?

Well, you don't hate the teen as such...Just hate the drain on the system which yes obviously is normal.

  • Totally, I know a few girls who had kids in the teens and most of them aren't with the father anymore and most of those don't even have the father in contact with the child. People want to grow up too quickly. I don't get it personally, I want to have my first child at 25. I think that's young enough so I'm not too old when they grow up but not too young. But even that I might push back, aslong as it's not after 30 would prefer to have kids before I hit that mark.

Normally Teen moms have made that choice to have a child at that age. [not all]But I'm not a huge fan of Teenage mothers , as i consider they need to be able to enjoy life for a bit longer.

But some teen moms are blessed with good parents and a good partner to help them.

Well, they are stuck in the position they are in. They aren't just going to mope around about their pregnancy the whole time. I'm sure they aren't happy about it, but rather, making the best of the situation.

Maybe it's their only way to cope? I'm sure they're not happy about getting pregnant.

I do applaud the girls/couples who decide to have the baby but give it up for adoption when they know they can't take care of the baby.
