The absolute best thing you could do for yourself is eat 6 small well balanced (e.g. fruits, veggies, chicken, fish, turkey, small amount of red meat, plenty of water, milk) meals. Or three slightly larger meals with a snack (ideally a piece of fruit) between meals. Also taking vitamins will help. If your body is used to eating very little, then you may have to force feed yourself in the beginning but you'll eventually start feeling quite hungry before each meal. This will surely give you the energy you need and regulate your digestive system :)
Try to take better care of yourself.
If you can't eat large meals, Try snacking throughout the day.
Nuts, seeds, fruit, veggies and healthy meats like fish.
If you're like me and don't really enjoy eating..veggie and fruit smoothies are great.
Drink lots of water.
A little juice if you like sweet drinks.
Almond or soy milk is a healthier substitute for cows milk.
Try to keep a schedule for eating AND sleeping. Try going to bed and sleeping at the same time. You shouldn't need more than 9 hours of sleep.
Try to exercise every day, doesn't have to be anything extreme..just a walk out in the sun and fresh air.
Vitamins will also help a lot. An every day vitamin is fine.
This should all make you feel better and encourage bowel movements.
