Is it normal that i hang out with people who are older than me?

I'm 23 years old and I do have friends my own age, but I prefer spending time with people who are older than I am. I have several other women in my life, ages ranging all the way from 40 to 60s, who I consider myself close to. It's not that I don't trust my girlfriends my own age. It's just that older adults seem to understand me better. I've been going through a lot lately, and I feel more comfortable opening up to older adults. They listen and offer provide great guidance & advice that my friends my own age always seem to be lacking. I look up to them and respect their opinioms. Is it normal to enjoy spending time with people who are older?

I feel this all the time and it bums me out because I know they just assume I'm too young to be their friend. I personally don't get along with many people in their twenties (my age) and hate immaturity/wildness. It seems like a lot of people in their twenties are arrogant, reckless and immature. Most of the people I tend to get on best with are 40-55.

I have had this feeling almost exactly like yours with being spoiled and stuff, and my friend is also a one-upper which is even worse. But I still love her because we actually have fun together. You know it's over when you like the memories than the person you are with. I hope I helped if she annoys u that much either confront her or be done but try not to hurt her feelings cuz u might have second thoughts in the future when her daddy pays for her to get a yacht and she needs company ;) lol jk. Just be courteous of her feelings. :D
