Is it normal that i had to take plan b?

I had sex with my boyfriend one night and we always use a condom. I didn't notice anything until afterwards I noticed a white clearish liquid was leaking from me (maybe just discharge). Then the next morning my bf came to talk to me and said that something happened with the condom (I didn't even notice) but that he really wanted me to take Plan B. I felt kind of trashy or irresponsible going in the store and having to ask for it but I know it was necessary and better than having a baby. Has anything like this happened to anyone else where you had to buy Plan B and/or felt bad about it?

    I had to take it and it took me 20 minutes to get the guts to ask for it

    I haven't had to, but I suspect I'd feel very much the same.
    Be very very glad you avoided a pregnancy though.

    Yup. same thing happened to me. I felt horrible and was actually crying when I went to get it. Stupid but whatever.
