Is it normal that i had this reaction?

So last night I went to a party and had maybe 3 shots of vodka. I'm not a lightweight so I was just buzzed. My friend then showed me to this guy sitting with a bong, and I was under the impression it was weed, so I smoked it. After taking a rip (not that big), I ran inside because i felt like i couldn't breathe, and started coughing non-stop for like five minutes. I then sat on a couch and felt very hot and sweaty. Everything started going really slow, and it felt weird when people touched me and it was hard to talk to people. I felt really paranoid that people were looking at my strangely or that the cops would show up. I would constantly forget what had just happened, and I knew something was wrong. I made my friend sit in my car with me and then eventually go hom. I've smoked my fair share of weed in my lifetime, and I have NEVER had a trip like that. What the hell was that weed laced with?

    ALL drugs on the street (nightclub whatever) you have no idea what's in them.
    They are not 'prescibed' drugs from the doctor! They are grown or developed in a home made laboratory or someones shed/garage/cupboard over months! Who knows, they may have use horse poo this time to see if it gives more of a kick!

    ONLY use drugs from a trusted source.
    And if you are taking drugs have trusted friends around you, who can take you to hospital if needed.

    When you get 'high' you are out of control. If this happens with 'strangers' around, well anything could happen!

      Just saying, most legitimate dealers aren't going to lace their shit or sell lace products. Bad for business, could get you killed in the wrong circumstances. At the same time I would never get anything from anyone I haven't known for a while, my dealers are always my friends too.

      And while this is very good advice, you really can't say you're "out of control" when high. I've smoked a mighty lot and never been less lucid for doing so, weed isn't an intoxicant. Now alcohol, that'll make you lose control. Train wreck all over the place.

    I have to think is possible that is was Sage indeed, the divinorum, or is also possible you were dehydrated. I say the latter as I had this problem often also not related to drugs but because alchool and weed both contributes to dehydrate, you might have not noticed and that makes you sick and brings your pressure down you can also faint or vomit because you need liquids.

    Guys yall be careful to have some water especially when you do drugs is an advice, drink water also when you do not feel like. Because many are also inhibiting your sense of thirst so it is wise to force yourself.

    uhhh...dude, it sounds like you had a small hit of salvia...any1 think of that....be happy u diddnt take a giant rip if it affects u that way.

    well I've had weed laced with coke, and I didnt have that reaction but I knew it was laced. So I was expecting to get fucked up :) so maybe you just had a bad reaction? Maybe? I dont know I dont smoke that much anymore I've been clean of everything for about 5 years now I only smoke cigarettes now :)

    What did it taste like? It sounds a bit like a salvia trip but if you know weed you would know the difference.

    If you've smoked your share of weed and aren't a lightweight I assume you've done your share of mixing the two..

    It could have been salvia or DMT or something, that's my first guess based on what you told me about your reaction.

    If it wasn't, and if you're experienced with drinking and smoking, anxiety? That would be my next guess.

      i was thinking salvia or DMT as well, or just a paranoid reaction to the really good herb on top of alcohol. panic attacks while intoxicated can convince one of all sorts of things. some JWH mixtures are pretty wild too, could have been something like that.

    How long has it been since you last smoked?
    Have you done ANYTHING else recently other than weed?
    Doing other drugs in bongs does happen, but is pretty uncommon. You probably weren't used to getting high so quickly & as a result of that, you got paranoid. I'd check back with ol' boy & see if he says something different. Best of luck to ya

      How do you know it was DEFINITELY laced with something other than weed??? I can't stand people that constantly say that because someone experiences something different they assume that weed was laced with something hardcore! I'm not judging, but I can speak from past experiences.

        I used to be a huge stoner and all of my friends have cards so I get the best shit and smoked out of like $500 bongs, so I've gotten high very quickly. It wasn't the same type of high, it was super scary and something I'd never experienced before.

      you can never really know for sure that it's laced, unless it taste like it is. i've tripped out on marijuana before, it's not unheard of.
