Is it normal that i had a weird reaction to weed?

Yesterday I smoked weed for the first time, and I'm not sure if I liked it. At first it didn't feel like it was working, and all the sudden I just got really screwed up. It was partially fun, but for like three hours I couldn't stop shivering uncontrollably , and kept having weird half dreams that made no sense. It was partially fun as I said before because everything was really funny, and kissing felt amazing. Also I felt like I couldn't control what I said or did? Could this reaction be partially due to the fact that I was intoxicated before I smoked?

    Thats not a weird reaction to weed, theyre normal and eventually those feeling will pass if you plan to smoke more and grow accustomed to it.

    yea pretty normal, my advice though is to smoke THEN drink. also make sure you are buying good weed, never buy mids, go straight to headies, more expensive yes, but very very worth it. Shivering is strange, no one i know ever had that, but the rest is normal, Ive been in the place where i cant stop myself from doing impulsive things when im high, just try to build up a tolerance slowly and eventually it will be like your floating everywhere, but you will be aware of whats happening and act more or less normally and thats in my opinion the best feeling. hope this helped

    Its normal, Its the dosage that will affect your preliminary reaction, if your begining to use weed or starting again. Its good to take small intakes and measure your high. I always smoked like a joint each time I started to blaze again and got super high, then got advice from a person that works in the coffee shops in The Netherlands.

    Everyones first toke is weird. There is really no way to have a normal smoking experience if you have nothing to compare it to.
